Excellence of cuisine and an interesting wine cellar is the aim of this new temple to gourmet cooking.  Ian the owner and Head Chef has been in the catering industry since leaving college, and has won many awards for his cuisine.  Ian has worked in the South Devon area throughout his career.  Having always strived to achieve perfection, there comes a time when all top chefs decide that the only way they can get close to the ideal is to run their own restaurant. 
Ian's time is now.  The Vanilla Pod is the result.

The restaurant opened in 2003 and it's reputation is well deserved.  We look forward to the pleasure of serving your needs soon. Private parties can be catered for, we specialise in after meeting lunches or dinners for business professional teams, weddings, anniversaries and birthdays
